The local Historical Society wanted to promote their annual Ball with a steampunk-inspired look, so I created a logo header, along with posters and flyers for their event. A collaboration with my favorite architect/artist.
I Love the 80's
Super fun project for a great client. She was remodeling her basement into a theatre room and wanted to have some 80's movie inspired quotes framed on the wall. She supplied the quotes and I supplied the art. Can you name every movie?

Fun & Games Invite
For this project, I worked with some wonderful women who were throwing their mother/mother-in-law an 80th birthday party. The family is big into games of all kinds so I took a game-board-spinner approach to the invite's details. The invitees loved the interactivity of the piece, which set the tone for a lively party. The pattern of E's covered the entire back of the invite and showed through a blue translucent vellum mailing envelope.

Coop & Cottage
Blog header for a Colorado urban farmer. Debbie is working on a book about raising chickens, bees, a garden and kids in an urban setting. Will post here when the book is available.

My client wanted a holiday gift to send to her clientele that would represent her event planning business while keeping postage costs low. The perfect solution turned out to be a holiday card which opened to reveal five recipe cards of festive libations. We used ribbon to wrap the cards like a gift (and also so they stayed in place during transit!)

Garden a'Fare is a wonderful event at our local botanic gardens, where chefs prepare a delicious dinner with food grown at the gardens, paired with local wine and beer.

This couple wanted a simple, unique invite that reflected their elegant but small wedding in the foothills of the Rockies.

Four Bats and a Warthog
Illustrations for a children's book about the benefits of bats. The target age was young elementary so the bats were designed to be friendly and fun. The top image shows a bumblebee bat, sporting his striped t-shirt, and the last image shows some guano. Who doesn't like talking about bat poop!?!?
The book was printed in black and white so I worked solely in blacks and grays so I'd know exactly how the art would print without worrying about the color-to-black-and-white conversion.

Another black and white children's book, this one featured stories about young inventors. The top photo of the boy at his drawing table was the cover of the book.
